MOLD TESTING
Mold can become a serious health hazard in the home if left unaddressed. It can trigger respiratory problems such as asthma, allergies or immune disorders, and depending on the level and length of exposure it can lead to more severe symptoms due to mold poisoning. Some types of mold (such as black mold) are more dangerous because they produce mycotoxins, and exposure to these toxins can be especially detrimental to young children, elderly people, or people with pre-existing health conditions.
Many times mold is a symptom of an underlying condition such as water damage in the home or moisture intrusion. Whatever is causing the mold to grow is something that needs to be addressed.
At Flagship Environmental, we offer a range of services including help identifying the cause and source of mold, testing to determine the specific mold spores found in the home, curating a protocol for contractors to follow to help reduce the mold in the home, performing a final clearance test to ensure the home is in a safe condition, and providing documentation that may be needed for legal and insurance purposes.
